Description

The Blue Lake Bush Bean is a benchmark survival bean that grows flavorful pods that are tender and crisp.  Bush beans are short plants, growing to approximately two feet in height…without requiring supports.  One reason the Blue Lake Bush Bean is so popular is because they require very little work.  They generally reach maturity and produce all of their fruit in a relatively short period of time (58 days).  Gardeners can also grow more than one crop of bush beans in a season.  Blue Lake beans produce an abundant crop of pods that can reach 6 to 7 inches in length.

Blue Lake Bush Beans also provide a robust amount of nutritional value including Vitamins A & C, Calcium, Iron and Fiber.  They taste great steamed or sprinkled in salads…and they are the perfect compliment to fresh herbs, citrus, nuts, raisins, hard cheeses, lemon, tomatoes and summer squash.  This is a must have for any Survival Seed Kit or homegrown garden.

The Blue Lake Bush Bean originated from the Blue Lake Pole Bean, which was frequently canned.  Since 1961, the Bush Bean has been developed into the world’s premier gourmet bean.  For those that like to know they’re prepared for anything, the Blue Lake Bush Bean is a delicious staple any garden or Seed Bank must have.
